Essential Job Functions:
Heavy focus on defining and implementing the core function of an HR department of a growing organization.
Recruiting, hiring and on-boarding
Key metrics and reporting updates
Manage compliance and reporting, EEO, safety, FMLA, etc.
Employee policies and procedures
Job description standards
Employee relations
Performance management
Work with Sr. Management on benefits and manage their selected offerings.
Work to both develop processes and improve existing processes.
Implement and improve use of software tools related to HR data and processes
Lead cultural transformation where needed

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with focus on HR, SHRM Certification a plus.
Knowledge and understanding in general HR governance:  FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.
Experience in the HR field to define an implementation path and the leadership to drive that implementation.
HR project implementation and change management experience.
Minimum of five (5) or more years of professional-level HR leadership experience.
Relevant computer and systems knowledge and experience.
Ability to adapt to company leadership culture that is making changes through-out the business.
Communicate effectively with all internal and external contacts.
Multi-tasking and ability set top priority items by day.
Excellent communication skills:
Written and verbal
Escalation of issues or constraints.
Operate as a team player and help to unify the team.

Work Environment:
This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
