Customer Service Rep, Recreation & Leisure
The Maryland National Capital Park & Planning Commission is one of the largest organizations servicing both Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.
Prince George’s County Northern Recreation and Leisure Services Division, is looking for talented people to join our team. As the first point of contact for our residents and guests, Customer Service Representatives provide frontline support by greeting patrons, answering questions, and promoting a positive experience at community and recreation facilities. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

- Responding to inquiries in person, and by phone
- Processing program registrations, memberships, and facility reservations
- Handling payments and basic recordkeeping
- Assisting with administrative tasks and daily facility operations
- Ensure safe, welcoming, and customer-focused environment while supporting staff, programs, and events across the division
- All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills. Requires periods of standing, frequent walking, repeated bending, stretching, or reaching.
- Minimum age of 18.
- High School Diploma/GED
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (Training classes available)
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with well others and be part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- General cleaning of buildings
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing. A criminal background check will be completed prior to hire.
