Job Description:

The Program Manager Specialist is responsible for directing all phases of aircraft modification and sustainment contracts from inception through completion adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

Essential Functions:

* Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
* Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing or current programs.
* Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of program.
* Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
* Responsible for Analyzing bids, assisting in development of WBS / Deliverables / Schedule / Cashflow forecast.

* Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
* Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management and customer.
* Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas to identify and assist in areas of improvement for systems and processes.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional

Skills:

* Aircraft maintenance or modification experience

* Active Secret DoD security clearance

* Experience with Earned Value reporting and tracking

* Direct program and proposal management experience

* Experience planning, scheduling, and organizing proposals

* Ability to work effectively as the primary customer point of contact and the ability to interface internally and externally at all levels

* Engineering/Sustainment, Planning, Procurement, Material Program Management, or Manufacturing experience L3
