Customer Team Member
Location:
Annan Road, Gretna, Dumfries and Galloway, DG16 5DH
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract:
16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time
Working pattern: mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.
- Provide friendly and thoughtful service, putting customers first in everything: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, and delivering a great shopping experience.
- Support fellow colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
- Maintain store safety and compliance: keep shelves stocked, ensure prices and dates are correct, and keep temperatures as required.
- Introduce new products and services, sharing experiences with teammates so learning is continuous.
- Engage the local community through Co‑op activities and events.
- Genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Positive approach to change and problem solving.
- Flexibility to work a range of different shifts.
