Customer Team Member

Location:

Annan Road, Gretna, Dumfries and Galloway, DG16 5DH

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract:

16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time
Working pattern: mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service, putting customers first in everything: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, and delivering a great shopping experience.
  • Support fellow colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Maintain store safety and compliance: keep shelves stocked, ensure prices and dates are correct, and keep temperatures as required.
  • Introduce new products and services, sharing experiences with teammates so learning is continuous.
  • Engage the local community through Co‑op activities and events.

  • Genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Positive approach to change and problem solving.
  • Flexibility to work a range of different shifts.
