Overview

The Electric Boat Information Technology Project Management Office (EBIT PMO) is responsible for managing IT projects, programs, and portfolios across the Electric Boat enterprise. The EBIT PMO provides governance for project, program, and portfolio management processes and best practices, monitors performance of projects, programs, and portfolios, drives project delivery, and performs strategic planning to maximize business value.

As the EBIT PMO expands in size and responsibility, the organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the EBIT PMO leadership team as EBIT PMO Supervisor. In this role, the EBIT PMO Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of direct reports responsible for performing IT Portfolio, Program, and Project Management.

  • Portfolio Optimization, Planning, and Governance

  • Resource Capacity Planning and Resource Management
  • Financial Management
  • Financial Management for the EBIT PMO
  • Portfolio Reporting & Analytics
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Risk Management
  • Continuous Process Improvement
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 4+ years of project management or program management experience including project schedule development, change management, and status reporting.
  • Previous program or portfolio management experience, including project prioritization and dependency tracking, resource allocation, budget management, and strategic planning.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in IT project, IT program, or IT portfolio management; or PMP or PfMP Certifications
Skills
  • Must have skills in strategic thinking, financial analysis, resource management, and risk assessment
  • Must have strong problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have proven ability to drive teams while being results focused
