The successful Client Service Supervisor will have:

Member in good standing in a regulated health professional college;
Current license to practice/registration with the applicable provincial college/professional regulatory agency; i.e.- College of Physiotherapy, College of Occupational Therapy, College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists.
Demonstrated knowledge of the current trends and development in the fields of adult and/or child rehabilitation;
Minimum of three years of therapy experience, preferably in the community;
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills;
Strong problem-solving skills; and
Proven customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external clients including written communication skills;

The role will require:

Supervision of Staff;
Travelling within Guelph, Shelbourne and Orangeville
Promote excellent client care through observation of direct client care at the service address and in accordance with all contract requirements both government and private;
Monitor compliance of staff to service purchaser contractual obligations, Company policy and procedures, provincial regulations and regulatory body standards;
Tactically recruiting and hiring community staff;
Act as a clinical resource for community staff;
Lead regular staff meetings to foster teamwork, address work-related problems and keep staff abreast of new information related to the branch and client care provisions;
Provide/facilitate in-service opportunities for staff to enhance or learn new knowledge and skills;
Conduct probationary and regular performance appraisals to ensure that community staff meet or exceed quality standards of practice as specified by the Company and the appropriate regulatory body;
Supervise all staff, focusing on core group for purposes of performance management and recognition while conducting a continuous review of staff rosters;
Implement Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities – i.e. chart audits and participate in directing the collection of client care outcome indicators; and
Other duties as assigned.
