Meter Reader

We are hiring METER READERS in your postcode now; no experience is required.

Collect meter data from gas, electricity, and water meters for both commercial and residential properties. Update reads accurately throughout the day on a handheld device, enter details at each location, and provide excellent customer service.

• Manual UK Driving Licence (minimum 1 year, maximum 6 points, no DUI offences)
• Physically fit and able to bend in tight spaces, lift, kneel, climb stairs, crouch, and walk 4–5 miles a day
• Clear DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions)
• Credit report check (no county court judgments, IVA, debt relief orders recorded for the last 6 years)
• 5 years employment history
• Previous customer‑service experience (preferred)

• £13.23 – 13.97 per hour basic pay (weekly payment)
• Weekly hours 40–45 with flexible start/finish times (Monday‑Friday, occasionally Saturday) between 8 am – 8 pm
• Annual earnings £29,000–35,000 including bonuses
• Bonus scheme up to £2,000 monthly
• Overtime rates £16–25 at manager’s discretion
