Senior Executive / Executive / Assistant Manager – Cash Operations

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for Cash Operations to manage billing, transactions, and cashier functions while ensuring a high standard of customer service. The role involves handling cash flow, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with SOPs in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities Cash Handling & Transactions
Manage cash register operations, billing, and transactions
Accept payments (cash, card, digital) and ensure billing accuracy
Process refunds, exchanges, and resolve customer complaints
Follow store procedures for coupons, vouchers, and gift cards
Cash Management & Compliance
Maintain and secure cash, petty cash, and cash equivalents
Balance cash registers and manage cashier banks
Monitor and report cash variances as per SOPs
Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with policies
Reporting & Documentation
Generate daily/periodic reports for sales (cash, credit, debit)
Maintain records, files, and transaction documentation
Perform period-end closing procedures
Customer Service & Store Operations
Deliver excellent customer service at the billing counter
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Support retail floor operations as needed
Ensure smooth customer interaction and engagement

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce
Experience in retail / hospitality / luxury retail preferred
Proficiency in POS systems, scanners, and billing software
Strong knowledge of cash management and reporting
