Manager of Perioperative Business Analytics

The Manager of Perioperative Business Analytics is responsible for providing support for Perioperative Services, managing processes related to financial and strategic planning, statistical studies, and process improvement activities. The Manager will oversee internal initiatives such as monitoring and management of staffing benchmarks, block scheduling management, OR utilization, timely processing of OR patient billing, and maintaining OR activity statistics. The Manager works in collaboration with Nursing Directors, Surgical Directors, Chairs of Surgery and Anesthesiology, as well as System Supply Chain, Sterile Processing, Patient Access, Finance, to support operational and strategic planning and process improvements.

Additionally, the Manager collaborates with surgery service line administration to support business decisions related to access, scheduling, block allocation and utilization. The Manager manages the flow of business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance in the Perioperative Service line and suggests areas and methods for improving operations, implements and oversees analytical approaches and methodologies, presents insight and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning, controls and develops internal/external information sources for business analysis, and ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met.
