Engineering Internship

Gain hands-on experience as an Engineering Student with a dynamic team in Halifax starting September 2026. Collaborate on construction projects while honing your technical skills.
This internship lasts 4 to 8 months and is ideal for students eager to dive into real-world engineering. Candidates should be prepared to coordinate drawings, attend project meetings, and update deficiency logs. You will also be involved in producing as-built drawings and supervising sub-trade work, making this a key developmental role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work-specific drawings and manage trade quotes

• Participate actively in project meetings and discussions

• Input and update deficiency logs and issue warranties

• Capture progress photos and update field drawings

• Produce detailed as-built drawings and perform quantity takeoffs
Requirements:

• Strong desire to work in a construction environment

• Previous field construction experience is an asset

• Proficient in computer software programs for drafting

• Ability to manage and update project schedules

• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and AutoCAD
