Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector 1st Shift to join their team. As a Quality Inspector 1st Shift, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting production excellence and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully within the organization.

** First Shift (M-F, 10am to 6pm)

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform inspection on products at various stages of production to verify compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.

+ Conduct random in-process roving inspections to ensure process specifications are maintained.

+ Perform first piece inspection after set-ups and document findings accurately.

+ Input notifications for non-conforming items and communicate issues effectively to the team.

+ Assist in maintaining the quality hold area and support calibration checks of measuring equipment on the factory floor.

** What's Needed?*
* + At least 1-2 years of quality inspector experience within the manufacturing industry.

+ Knowledge and use of calipers for precise measurements.

+ Ability to read blueprints and source quality documentation, including SAP programs.

+ Understanding of calibration processes and quality documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and inspection charts.

+ Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
