What will you do?

SA is currently recruiting GEOPHYSICIST to join our client’s team in UK (East coast). This vacancy is offered as a permanent contract on full‑time basis directly employed by our client.

Geophysicist is responsible for collecting, processing, interpreting, and analyzing geophysical data (SSS/SBP/MAG) acquired to produce accurate and informative maps and models of the sub‑seafloor geology.

Must

Have
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geophysics, geology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Sonarwiz/CODA/Oasis Montaj processing suite; similar software may be considered.
  • Ability to QA/QC SSS/SBP/MAG data.
  • Proficiency with GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS, is required.
  • Offshore experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with geological/geophysical equipment, can be helpful.
  • Good written and oral English.
  • Must be able to travel freely.
Who are you?
  • Responsible for the production of the reports required during or at the end of the operations.
  • Responsible for data processing (SSS/SBP/MAG) and for the production of preliminary and final reporting products.
  • Supports the Rep Co P&R Sup. for the production of the reports required.
  • Reports to the P&R Mngr.
  • Liaises with the P&R Sup./Rep Co for project‑related matters.
  • Ensures final deliverables are in line with the company Quality standards.
