Skills Required
  • Long Term Care Private Duty Nurse LVN
  • Experience with a G-tube, trach, and vent
  • Ability to work with bed ridden/immobile patients
  • Ability to work with non verbal patients
Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor the patient's condition and vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Provide emotional support to the patient and their family
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's needs are met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
  • Active LVN license in the state of Texas
  • Experience working with non - verbal patient
  • Experience working with immobile patient
  • Experience working with a Hoyer lift
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving
Job Description

The LVN will be responsible for providing nursing care to a 24y/o female. Client has a G-tube, trach, and vent. Patient is bed ridden, immobile, and non verbal.

We are seeking a skilled PDN LVN to join our team in Harker Heights, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing excellent patient care, strong communication skills, and expertise in gastrostomy care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The PDN LVN will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
