1. Deposit reporting and online set-up
2. Reconciling bank statements and verifying weekly checks for all bank accounts
3. Issue monthly and Year-end customer statements
4. Tally hours on employee time sheets:
a. Record into payroll service
b. Enter payroll into QuickBooks
5. Prepare payments for vendors, and maintaining petty cash fund.
Hours are flexible but completion of weekly and monthly tasks are necessary to comply with deadlines. Expectation of workload is a minimum of 2.5 hours/week, with at least 1 hour on site/week. In this role, the bookkeeper will prepare monthly financial statements for Director and Board of Directors and attend a monthly Board of Directors meeting (evening), to present and discuss financial. This position would function to prepare tax records for accountant and also assist with annual budget planning with the management team.
No specific educational and experience is required providing all required skills and background knowledge to successfully complete the tasked required of this position can be demonstrated and verified.
Proficiency in productivity software including but not limited to MS Word and Excel, QuickBooks, e-mail and online communication is required.Company Description
