Monday to Thursday: 6.00am – 14.00pm / 14.00pm – 22.00pm
Friday: 6.00am – 13.00pm / 13.00pm – 20.00pm

Here at TE Connectivity it is an exciting time to join our Site in Hastings. Due to an internal restructure of work our Hastings site will welcome up to 36 new CNC roles. These opportunities are open to applications now so don’t delay in applying.

Our Hastings site is unique to TE Connectivity, as it is only one of a few sites where it has all functions needed on site to take raw material in and ship a fully functional connector out to its customers. Hastings manufactures connectors for harsh environments, particularly for military, aerospace, and Autosport.

The Customers that you can expect to be manufacturing parts for will include market leaders in Autosport, Defence and Aerospace industries.

The Role
You will be required to set and operate machines using Fanuc controls to accurate specifications ensuring that components are produced correctly to drawings and delivered on time. It is essential that the highest quality of work is consistently maintained.

Working within a growing team of skilled CNC Machinists reporting directly into the CNC Team Leader you will be able to resolve any issues, perform set-ups and change overs.
Position Requirements
What you must have
We would like you to hold experience operating as a CNC Machinist / Operator ideally with knowledge of Fanuc Programming Control. We would also like you to hold all or some of the following:

• Ability to set and operate CNC machines
• Ability to program CNC Machines
• Capable of making parts from drawings
• Be able to quality inspect your own work to the required quality
