Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Location: East Honolulu
Overview
Field Engineer 2, responding to customer locations located in Hawaii.
Responsibilities- Responsibilities :
- Provide field service for electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment, including diagnosing and repairing as needed.
- Interface with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and/or electronic equipment; troubleshoot customer concerns.
- Utilize Web applications and Microsoft Office products in daily tasks.
- Adhere to GE Health Care’s background and health requirements, including post-offer drug testing and compliance with customer access policies and immunization requirements (including potential additional background checks).
- Meet special physical requirements: lift up to 35 lbs unassisted; frequent bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, kneeling, and standing for long periods; good hand and finger dexterity; vision requirements (color, close, distance, peripheral, depth).
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and be willing to work after hours or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues as necessary.
- Quality and compliance responsibilities: comply with Quality Manual and Quality Management System, meet regulatory requirements, complete planned training, identify and report quality or safety concerns, ensure timely dispatch closure, mark field modifications instructions (FMI’s) when applicable, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure calibration.
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
- 2+ years of experience servicing imaging equipment.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, time management, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with strong networking and interpersonal skills.
- Training and experience in multiple modalities; ability to deliver results and adapt to changing environments.
- In the Life Sciences business, must be a Field Engineer Level 1 for 2 years before moving to Level 2.

-based positions only, the pay range for this position is $74,160.00-$ annually. Compensation decisions are based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
