Class A Multi-Stop Delivery Driver

Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way, which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties.

All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). 1 pay rate: $33/hr

• Utilize specialized skills developed during the C&S Professional Driver Training Program to operate a commercial motor vehicle (semi‑truck, eighteen‑wheeler, box truck, etc.) and transport and safely deliver product.
• Load and unload product (ambient or temperature‑sensitive) for customers on an average of 3–10 stops per day.
• Inspect, document, and ensure equipment is operable and compliant with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Travel is required.

• DOT Certified, holding a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Department of Transportation Physical Exam.
• Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements.
• Enjoy working with people.

• Comply with FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures.

• 1–2 years of recent tractor‑trailer experience.
• 1–2 years supporting a large enterprise storage environment.
• 1–2 years of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company‑approved CDL truck driving school.
