Experienced Supply Management Specialist

Position Overview

Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist (Level
3) to join the Supply Chain Organization at Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Heath, Ohio. This position is 100% onsite, 1st shift, and requires meeting U.S. export control compliance.

• Facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in‑service requirements, and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
• Develop and participate in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies.
• Analyze and monitor supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Develop mitigation plans and provide outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.

• More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and sub‑contracts.
• More than 3 years of experience negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
• More than 3 years of program management within supplier management.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience working with procurement plans.
• Experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.
• Experience with various contract types such as Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Government contracts, etc.
• Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• Experience working in a multi‑functional team environment.

Travel up to 15% of the time. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
