Testing & Inspection Electrician

Testing and Inspection Electrician - Mobile - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

My client, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management organisations, is looking for a Mobile Testing & Inspection Electrician with electrical & inspection experience and the following qualifications:

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing certification
• NVQ Level 3 Technical Apprenticeship or City & Guilds 2377
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card)
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial electrical work, including small installations and upgrades
• Preparing method statements, risk assessments and point‑of‑work assessments
• Maintaining accurate records and reports using mobile devices
• Working unsociable hours, including weekends and overnight, with enhanced overtime compensation

In return for your hard work the role offers a salary of up to £42,000, additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), a generous pension contribution, and life assurance.

Commutable from Hertfordshire, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Watford, Welwyn Garden City, Aylesbury, North London.
