Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Keep and maintain a safe and clean work environment/cell.
- Collect and inspect trend board samples at specified times throughout the shift.
- Input data into shop floor.
- Visually check quality of print against approved sample; (check if light or dark, check if off-center, check if faded or missing print, check molding parts for shorts, flash, strings, grease, etc.)
- Ensure maximum output of printing machines.
- Work with the Shift Group Leader and Printing Technicians to ensure completion of daily tasks.
- Understand all aspects of set-ups.
- Perform plate and color changes.
- Change and trim blankets.
- Clean and set‑up color-heads.
- Mix inks if needed.
- Perform all Printing Machine Operator duties.
- Make Q.C print standards.
- Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and (HACCP) Practices.
- Any other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Cell Leader.
- Must Know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices.
- Shop Floor.
- Trend Boards.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.
No supervisory responsibilities.

Education and / or ExperienceThree to five months previous printing machine operations training of off-set printing.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must possess the ability to differentiate colors.
