Hermiston School District is seeking a full‑time TOSA‑Dean of Students at Highland Hills Elementary School. The successful candidate must be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure before the school year starts. The position begins August 2026 and pays for 10 additional days above the standard 193‑day teacher work year contract.

• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience with increasing responsibility, elementary preferred
• Valid licensure through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
• Working knowledge of discipline procedures, education code, and district policies
• Excellent command of oral and written English language
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on‑the‑job travel
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff from diverse cultures or backgrounds
• Maintain integrity of confidential information related to students, staff, and district patrons

• Interest in pursuing school administration and coursework has begun

2026‑2027 Salary

Schedule:

$50,849 - $101,497 per year.

The role includes a full‑year contract of 193 days, plus 10 additional days and 3 paid holidays. Benefits include PERS retirement, employer‑paid pick‑up, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive health and benefits package.
