Qualifications and Experience Sought:
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of special education processes, including IEPs and eligibility evaluations.
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse students, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments and observations for students referred for services.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings.
  • Deliver direct and consultative counseling and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop strategies that support student learning and socio-emotional health.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations.
