Diesel Equipment Mechanic – Heavy Trucks & Concrete Mixers

Delta Industries Inc. is looking to hire a highly skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic to work on its fleet of heavy equipment, including concrete mixer trucks, tractor‑trailer units, end loaders, and other equipment as needed. This hands‑on position involves minor repairs and general maintenance.

• Methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Various mechanical systems of diesel engines.
• Various electrical systems of diesel engines.
• Standard practices, equipment and tools of the automotive and equipment mechanical trade.
• Principles and practices of diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Methods and techniques of welding and fabrication (plus).
• Operating and repair characteristics of hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety procedures.
• CDL A/B license preferred.
• Own tools required.
• Extensive experience on commercial motor vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.

Pay is based on experience.
