Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
You will design and architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS. You will also act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on emerging technologies and managing risks throughout the implementation.

Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with the software development life cycle from conception to delivery
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent
- 5+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis - Experience with automation or scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync
