Position Summary Are you ready to step into a dynamic role as a Full-Time Armed Security Officer
? Embrace the excitement of a variable Full-Time work schedule that keeps you on your toes! Your assignments will take you to client sites (two locations) in the areas of the 20151 and 22060 zip codes.

• Pay Range:
  Starting at $43.51 for Baseline Officers and up to $49.94 for a shift Supervisor.
• Plus an extra $4.23 for Health and Welfare.

• Deter and report unauthorized access.
• Prevent and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor and respond to security systems.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions.
• Manage access to secured areas—because some doors are meant to stay closed.
• Enforce site security regulations.
• Document incidents and investigations—every detail matters.
• Respond to medical emergencies—your quick thinking could make all the difference.
• Manage keys and safe/vault combinations.
• Conduct facility patrols—exploring is part of the job!
• Engage in specialized duties with K-9 teams, Bike Patrol, Emergency Response, and Security Operations—where no day is ever the same!
• Working conditions:
  
  24/7 business hours and weekend availability required.
• Environment is typically busy and subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather.
• Subject to high noise levels.
• Physical requirements:
  
  heavy work with up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Must have visual and audio acuity to operate vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms, and clearing barrels.
• Subject to hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or chemicals.
• May be required to be fitted for and/or wear a respirator.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk on uneven terrain.

Must be able to obtain a Security

Clearance Required:

TS-SCI-CI Poly. Don’t worry; candidates may be considered for sponsorship if they meet our preferred qualifications.

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• US Citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. state-issued driver's license.
• No domestic violence convictions (Lautenberg compliance).
• At least one of the following:
• Two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Two years of experience in physical security or a combination of military service and security experience.
• An associate degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement field.
• Completion of a police officer basic training academy.
• Three years of experience as a security officer.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successful completion of pre-employment testing and training.
• Pass employment physical, background checks, and client approval for specific work locations.
• PRERERRED QUALIIFICATIONS:
• Security Clearance strongly preferred: TS-SCI Poly
• 7+ years in Federal or local law enforcement with recent SWAT or tactical experience.
• 5+ years in Federal or local law enforcement with a demonstrated career progression.
• 4+ years of recent military experience in a combat arms MOS.
• Plus: A solid work history with upward movement and no unexplained gaps.
