ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer
Position within the central ASIC & FPGA Engineering division for Lockheed Martin Space. You will be supporting over 50 different programs and research and development efforts across military space, civil space, commercial space, missiles, missile defense platforms, satellite surveillance platforms, deep space exploration, and manned flight missions.
Location & ScheduleOnsite full-time near Lockheed Martin Space facility in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Work schedule:
flexible 9x80 in office full-time, with every other Friday off.
- Work with low SWaP, radiation hardened, space‑rated devices.
- Support all aspects of ASIC and FPGA development: architecture, design, analysis, and test.
- Conduct technical reviews and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Interface with an independent verification team verifying the design.
- 1+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Experience or coursework in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.
- HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience or coursework in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.
- Experience in ASIC/FPGA life cycle: architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration, and test.
- Knowledge of digital design, development, and simulation.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range (country/state-eligible) is approximately $82,900 – $146,165, depending on location. Pay is based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, market conditions, and business considerations.
