Windows Administrator – Lead I, Cloud Infrastructure Services
We are looking for a highly skilled Windows Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Windows infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, security, performance, and availability while supporting business‑critical applications and IT operations.
Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments across enterprise infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and related Windows services.
- Perform server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Implement and maintain system security, hardening, and compliance standards.
- Automate tasks using Ansible, Python, and Power Shell scripting.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in Ansible, Python, and Power Shell scripting.
- Experience with patch management, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and effective communication.
- Desired:
Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, or Intune administration, SCCM/MECM, WSUS, infrastructure monitoring tools, storage/networking operations, ITIL processes. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified:
Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, etc.) preferred.
Role location:
Oregon
Compensation range: $65,000–$98,000 per year.
