Job DescriptionThe Project Manager I is responsible for coordinating project management activities for the development and production launch of products in motion control and industrial automation, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing schedule, cost and risk, and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Lead planning and implementation of the overall project.
- Follow strict compliance to the phase‑gate process.
- Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant individuals and departments, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop and manage project budget and schedule, tracking timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Consistently monitor and report progress to stakeholders.
- Present reports on project progress, problems and solutions focusing on schedule, costs and risks.
- Manage risks and issues, taking corrective measures.
- Interface directly with internal departments, outside suppliers/vendors and the customer for program control, management, and reporting.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful project execution.
- Anticipate and manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs, setting new priorities.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Report and elevate to management as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 0‑1 years of experience supporting projects or equivalent experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects continuously with frequent interruptions and manage time effectively.
- Confidence in leading teams from engineering, operations, and procurement divisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time.
LanguagesEnglish required.
