Position: Programme Manager (Sports & Community)

The Department

The Corporate Planning and Branding is responsible for defining the extent, depth, and outlay of the Club’s strategy and business plan, taking responsibility for quality and content of the strategy development process, managing the Club’s external and internal business intelligence, supporting divisional strategic business planning activities, managing special strategy projects, consolidating and synthesizing divisional strategies and business models, supporting divisional adaptation / specification of annual objectives and action plans, conducting soundness checks to ensure business and functional targets are aligned with the overall strategy and management expectations, and coordinating and facilitating performance measurement process.

The Job

You will:

  • develop and enhance existing projects to maximise brand return to the Club as a whole
  • lead a team to ensure effective implementation and execution of sports and community events
  • create angles and directions to facilitate media partnership in support of sports and community programmes and supervise content creation for own platforms
  • liaise with service providers, partners and stakeholders in implementing events outside of Hong Kong
  • conduct post programme evaluations, report outcome and effectiveness of the programmes with recommendations for improvement
  • About You

    You should have:

  • at least a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in event management, programme management, CSR or sports marketing
  • strong network with the media and relevant stakeholders
  • knowledge of and working experience with sports or social services in Hong Kong
  • knowledge of and experience in mainland China as an advantage
  • meticulous project management, event management skills and details oriented
  • excellent communications and interpersonal skills, as a team player
  • capabilities in supervising and managing external service providers
  • strong writing skills in both English and Chinese. Putonghua speaking is an advantage
  • Terms of Employment

    The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
