Position Overview

Develop and facilitate marketing and communication initiatives across the region through efficient processes, to support the business development needs and the RGA brand in Asia. Key relationships include:
Asia Regional Marketing team Other regional and local functions e.g. Asia Regional Pricing, Underwriting, Medical, Claims and Data, as well as the marketing and business development teams of local offices Global Marketing, Corporate Communications and Global Account teams

Responsibilities Develop and facilitate marketing and communication initiatives in the region through efficient processes to support the RGA Brand and other business development and marketing needs Create or coordinate content to effectively market RGA’s insights and new initiatives, that supports the regional and local business development initiatives and build the RGA brand in Asia Responsible for planning, developing and coordinating Thought leadership articles and content for Asia, leveraging RGA global resources, across a range of formats such as articles, newsletters, presentations, Webinars and other video recording formats Actively drive and design a range of internal and external marketing collateral such RGA Newsletters, CEO Connect etc Develop and manage RGA Asia content repository and infrastructure that include platforms such as the RGA Asia Academy and Asia landing Page Develop and manage a Social Media strategy for RGA Asia Establish efficient processes to orchestrate the creation of effective marketing and communication materials Work closely with the Regional Events Specialist to support the marketing, communication, content and collateral for event and sponsorships which include regional award submission and where necessary facilitation local award submissions Continuously seek for better marketing and communication opportunities to maximize the value of RGA’s solutions Consult on effective distribution of marketing materials Assist with knowledge and intelligence sharing driven by regional marketing and other regional teams Facilitate and manage the collection, review and presentation of insights such as Asia Quarterly product trend report and Asia Product Library Track and report performance of knowledge sharing sites and campaigns where necessary Identify trend and insights, and optimize performance based on insights Design and produce presentation materials, reports and various other materials to support the regional and strategic projects as required.

These include products, solutions, research projects and other key initiatives Coordinate with global account, global support team, and CRM team on various business development and client engagement activities and initiatives


Qualifications &


University degree or equivalent experience 8+ years working experience in insurance/reinsurance or other financial services industries Prior experience in digital marketing or ecommerce Prior experience with graphic/infographic design beneficial Skills &


Highly motivated, results oriented and solutions focused Organized, delivery-orientated with the ability to work with multiple concurrent projects Innovative, proactive and a self-starter with the ability to think outside the box and initiate and drive new initiatives Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal); strong ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view with a high attention to detail Fluency in an Asian language would be very beneficial Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong in content editing and presentation design

Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines

Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in program/team projects

Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of markets and operational, functional, and technical disciplines; work well with all levels of management Knowledge of Asian life insurance markets and product lines highly regarded Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Ability to work within a virtual office environment including dealing with stakeholders that are not physically in the same office Strong project management skill Company Overview
