Duties and Responsibilities
* Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas of social work:
* Social work practice with individuals, groups, and/or communities and organizations
* Social welfare policy
* Research
* Human behavior and the social environment
* Children and families
* Mental health
* Health
* Gerontology
* Substance abuse
* Social work history
* General social work practice
Minimum Qualifications
* To teach non-practice classes:
Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited school or university
* To teach practice classes:
Master's degree in social work from an accredited school or university plus two years of post-master's practice experience in social work
Desirable Qualifications
* Teaching experience at the college level in one or more of the areas stated above
* At least two years of post-MSW social work related experience
* Work experience related to the area of teaching interest
* Ability or interest in teaching online courses
* Familiarity with multicultural issues in service provision
