Position:Certified Nurse Aide

Location:Honolulu, HI

Pay:$24/hour

Experience:

• 6 months of working experience as a CNA is preferred.
• Prior geriatric/rehabilitative experience is preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a HI CNA license.
  
  Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Type:Full-time or Part-time;
Contract

Schedule:10-12 hour shifts

• Day: 5:00am to 2:00pm
• Evening: 10:00am to 6:30pm
• NOC:
  Starting time of 8:00pm

Job Description:

• Maintain resident confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Report concerns, incidents, or changes in condition promptly.
• Assist with ADLs and provide companion care in private apartment settings.
• Take and log vital signs; monitor and report health changes.
• Support residents emotionally and perform light homemaking tasks as needed.
• Follow and stay updated on Service Plans, ensuring resident needs and preferences are met.
• Respond to communications professionally and in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

• Takes initiative in identifying hazards, notices residents' changes in condition or other situations, and responds appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
• Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
