Position: School & Swimming Pool Custodian III - Kaimuki High

Salary

Salary Range: $5,204.00 per month.

Responsibilities

Supervises work related to cleaning and maintenance of school buildings, a large swimming pool, and surrounding grounds and walkways.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

General Experience
:
Progressively responsible janitorial or related custodial work experience, demonstrating knowledge of on‑the‑job safety techniques and methods; proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies; and the ability to work effectively with others.

Specialized Experience
:
Experience in cleaning and maintaining a large swimming pool, including operating water pumping systems, filtering, sanitizing, and minor repair of pumps.

Supervisory Aptitude
:
Evidence of supervisory aptitude, such as completion of supervision training courses, assignments involving supervisory responsibilities, or favorable appraisals indicating supervisory potential.

Experience Totals
:
Minimum of 2 years of general experience plus 3 months of specialized experience, totaling 2 years and 3 months.

Required Documents

A copy of the applicant’s TA History Report or equivalent system‑generated report.

A signed letter from the applicant’s supervisor that includes the applicant’s name, TA job title, TA start and end dates, specific TA duties performed, and either the TA hours worked per week or total TA hours worked.

Copies of the applicant’s signed SF‑10 Forms.
