Part-time Custodian; Dillingham

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a part‑time Custodian to work at a Honolulu location. The position requires a commitment to cleanliness and safety during evening shifts.

  Friday 1:00 PM‑9:30 PM and Sunday 3:00 PM‑11:30 PM (16 hours weekly)
• Compensation: $18.00 per hour

• Perform custodial tasks in any weather.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas: sweep, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, empty trash, and dispose waste.
• Keep restrooms fully stocked, clean, and sanitized.
• Utilize a vacuum for indoor cleaning.
• Operate a forklift after HBM training.
• Use a pressure washing machine, leaf blower, ride‑on or ride‑behind machine.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

• Pass HBM prescreen check.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related fields preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; training will be provided.
• Follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Strong public relations and communication skills.
• Capable of basic manual labor: lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs., reaching, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing ladders, using elevators, stairways.
