Practical Nursing position located at the Women’s Community Correctional Center and the Oahu Community Correctional Center. The role includes providing practical nursing care, supervising unlicensed personnel, and performing related technical duties. The position may serve as a team leader on the evening or night shift.

All applicants must be available for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide personal and practical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Perform related technical work under the direction of a higher level licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.
• Supervise para‑medical assistants and other unlicensed personnel as required.
• Serve as in charge or team leader of assigned intermediate care patients or a small facility for evening/night shifts.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Hawaii.
• One year of progressively responsible work experience as a licensed practical nurse, licensed vocational nurse, or registered nurse, performing personal and practical nursing care comparable in scope and difficulty to Level I state service.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid within the first three months of employment.
• Compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act, including no history of sexual abuse, assault, or related misconduct.
• Subject to drug screening and an intensive background check.
