2 years experience as a Asst.Charge Nurse in the assigned Unit

RESPONSIBLE:

Assumes a leadership role in providing direction to nursing personnel in accordance with organizational and department goals and objectives. Ensures the provision of optimal standards of professional nursing care delivery to patients within an assigned hospital unit. Functions as charge nurse while on duty and may assume the head nurse role during his/her absence

   Language Skills:
   Fluent in English – Oral and Written.

American Board, Canadian Board (FRCPC) Fellow of the Royal College of UK & Ireland (MRCP/FRCP with or without CCST, FCP (SA) South Africa, French (DIS, DES,CIS,CES), FachArtz, Swedish Board, Belgium Board, Spanish Board, Italian Board and all other Western qualifications accepted.

Minimum of 4-6 years Post Specialist Qualification experience in an acute care setting.

Current hospital experience.

Professional Licensure/Registration:

The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment. Must have Good standing status.

Experience:

Total Nursing experience of 8 – 10 years’ hospital experience
4-5 years of Head / Assistant Head Nurse experience.
3-4 years of Charge Nurse experience.
