Background

The Firm is a very large money management firm working in Houston. The firm manages assets for institutional and high net worth clients.

Job Description

A full-time Client Relations Associate will interface with individuals throughout the firm and be part of a team providing support in the areas of client service, marketing and general office administration reporting to the Client Relations Manager.

Responsibilities include:

*completing changes/updates in materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel

including preparing monthly and quarterly client reporting

*printing and assembling materials for client/prospect meetings

*formatting, producing and distributing investment-related pieces, newsletters,

custom mailings and miscellaneous correspondence, as requested

*collaborating on custom PowerPoint presentations for speakers

*confirming all necessary materials for meetings, i.e., brochures, background information,

maps, correspondence, etc. (provide if necessary)

*communicating with internal and external entities to assist client service/marketing professionals

in meeting or exceeding our clients’ service expectations

*assisting with marketing of the firm’s products which may include:

preparation of responses to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires

as well as updating of industry databases

*assisting with travel arrangements and general office duties, as assigned

Qualifications

A highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a positive, “can do” attitude and experience collaborating with a team to create a smooth workflow and meet deadlines. The individual in this position should have experience in managing multiple concurrent tasks, the ability to anticipate needs and exhibit good judgment in problem-solving. An individual should have intermediate to advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software. They should also have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Previous work experience in a financial services firm is helpful but not mandatory.

Education

Bachelors Degree and office experience preferred.

Background or education in marketing, finance, communications or a related field is a plus.
