The Administrative Assistant position supports the Division of Clinical Research by providing administrative and secretarial assistance to ensure efficiency and productivity. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and supporting divisional projects.
The ideal candidate will have prior administrative or secretarial experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a motivated and proactive approach to managing tasks and supporting team objectives.
Minimum $19.71, midpoint $24.52, and maximum $29.33
Location:
Texas Medical Center.

Hybrid, Monday-Friday requires onsite presence as needed to support business operations

* Responsibilities
* * Administrative Support
* - Process ePAFs and coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities
- Schedule meetings and candidate interviews
- Maintain the division PD warehouse
- Coordinate travel arrangements, conference registration, and reimbursements
- Process purchase requisitions and reimbursement requests
- Assist with vetting process for auditors and consultants
- Monitor and respond to requests in shared email inboxes
* Special Projects
* - Coordinate divisional projects such as employee lunches
- Manage processes for space allocation and asset management
- Assist in annual inventory and ensure completion of space survey
- Perform other duties as assigned
* Education
* Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree
* Work Experience
* Required:
Four years administrative/secretarial experience
Preferred:
Prior administrative experience is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
