BW Industrial Construction is seeking an experienced Foreman - Industrial Construction (1099-IC) to lead field crews on industrial construction projects across Texas. You’ll coordinate daily work, maintain a safe jobsite, and ensure all tasks meet quality and schedule expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise crews (laborers, electricians, pipe fitters, welders, concrete workers, subcontractors).
- Plan and assign daily work to meet project milestones.
- Ensure work follows drawings, specs, and safety standards.
- Enforce PPE, OSHA, and site‑specific safety rules.
- Monitor work quality and resolve issues quickly.
- Communicate progress and needs to Project Managers and Engineers.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Maintain daily logs (labor hours, materials, progress).
- 5+ years industrial construction experience; 2+ years as Foreman or supervisor.
- Knowledge of electrical, pipe fitting, welding, concrete, or related trades.
- Ability to read blueprints;
Revit/Blue Beam preferred. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- NCCER or apprenticeship preferred.
- Basic Plus, OSHA 10/30 preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass background check and drug screening.
- Willing to travel to job sites.
- Comply with all BW and client‑specific onboarding steps, including safety orientation and site access requirements.
- Follow all PPE, safety, and reporting protocols at all times.
- Must be able to travel to assigned project sites and work required schedules, including overtime or weekends when needed.
- Assist in identifying, recommending, and helping build a reliable project crew, including skilled labor and trade support, in alignment with BW standards.
- Maintain professional conduct and communication with clients, subcontractors, and BW team members.
- Industrial construction sites with exposure to weather, noise, and heavy equipment.
- Requires standing, walking, climbing, and PPE use (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toed boots).
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W‑2 employment position.
