Primoris Engineering is seeking a Civil Designer to join our engineering group in Houston, TX. Successful candidates will have experience with the latest civil and structural Autodesk design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Candidate should be experienced with and proficient in grading work utilizing Civil 3D.

• Create grading models and plans using Civil 3D software.
• Run cut and fill analysis as well as put together materials list based on site specific soil conditions.
• Create platform, supports and structures using CADWorx Structure.
• Work closely with engineering team and coordinate with other disciplines through the duration of projects.
• Be familiar with OSHA regulations and PIP Standards.
• Work with external vendors to ensure all drawings align with equipment and technical documentation.
• Maintain records of revisions and markups throughout the scope of the project.

• Prior grading work using Civil 3D.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Proficient in 3D modeling using a variety of Autocad applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Works well in team environment with good communication skills both verbal and written.
