Floating Bank Teller – Fortune 100 Financial Institution – Houston, TX Area

Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; lending products; and credit/debit cards. Conduct moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision and provide assistance or training to lower level team members.

• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts or loans.
• Assist members with submissions of consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.
• Assist Level I team members.
• Understand and comply with federal and other regulations related to financial products and services.
• Assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures (may be required).
• Possibly serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be able to commute to Houston, Pearland and Missouri City, TX.

• 1‑3 years of relevant cash‑handling experience; banking is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills – effective in person, over the phone and via email.
• Skill in de‑escalation, remaining calm under pressure, and active listening.

Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm;
Saturday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm.

Hourly rate: $21.82.
