To perform service, (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on equipment, at external or Hiab locations in line with Manager's instructions. Responsible for contributing to productive customer relationships as well as following Best Practice in all administrative and technical activities.

The Hiab facility is located in Houston, TX, however all field service work will be conducted in the Mobile, AL and surrounding areas.

• Inspect, perform service, and troubleshoot (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skip loaders and Hoists as per Manager's instructions
• Follow applicable safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
• Stay up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and complete technical courses when instructed by District Service Manager
• Respond to customer queries and concerns to maximize customer satisfaction and follow Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines
• Keep adequate records, maintain documentation and submit daily reports in the format specified by the District Service Manager
• Recognize sales opportunities and communicate them to District Service Manager
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary
• Conduct oneself at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow rules of the Quality System

• Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card is required for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
• No more than one moving violation in the last year, or two violations within a two-year timeframe. All violations will be reviewed
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Own tools required
• Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc. Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
• This position requires 100% travel
