Plastic Production Supervisor

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Plastic Production Supervisor to join a well‑known and reputable plastic manufacturing company in South Houston, TX. As a Plastic Production Supervisor, you will play an essential role in warehouse operations, overseeing all aspects of the production process and personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality output

Pay Rate

$25.00 - $28.00 depending on Experience

Schedule and Hours

4:00 pm to 2:30 am - Monday to Thursday

• Supervise extruder operators and material mixers to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company procedures.
• Oversee equipment setup, start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting to prevent downtime or failure.
• Evaluate employee performance and support hiring, training, coaching, and corrective action.
• Report shift issues, incidents, and maintenance needs to plant or operations management.
• Ensure smooth shift handoffs and be able to perform duties of extruder operators and material mixers as needed.
• Communicate with warehouse staff on raw materials and finished goods.

• Strong knowledge of extrusion, injection molding, or similar production equipment
• 4+ years of manufacturing or production supervisory experience (plastics or extrusion preferred)
• Familiarity with control plans, materials testing, and quality standards
• Understanding of safety procedures, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support hands‑on production tasks
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.

Full-time, temporary to hire
