The opportunity

Reporting to the Global Head of Inside Sales, we are looking for a Business Development Sales Manager who wants to join a new team in North Carolina. This is an opportunity to grow the renewal of our customer base through cross-team collaboration. It’s a chance to guide the work of a Business Development team to uncover new opportunities through the development of strong direct customer relationships at all levels of the organization.

You have proven success in Business Development and Inside Sales. You have coached or mentored a sales team officially or unofficially. You have a positive, supportive leadership style and you understand the difference between strictly managing targets and coaching the best efforts and results from a team. You are an effective collaborator and you know how to leverage the assets of internal groups such as; Marketing, Training, Services and Customer Success to drive measurable value and growth in new and renewable sales.

’s what you will do as our new Business Development Sales Manager:

Support the Global Head of Inside Sales. You will assist with the end-to-end management of the business development organization. You will collaborate with Business leaders to define business needs and target markets.

Create and manage a business development strategy. You will focus on go-to-market plans for new products, sales strategy for existing products and design key business development, sales and marketing initiatives. You will segment and prioritize target markets balancing near-term revenue with long-term potential.

Inspire. You will motivate and work closely with individuals and the team to successfully meet and exceed their quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Foster professional relationships. You will reach out to and build relationships with internal stakeholders including other Sales Teams, Sales Solution Experts, Sales Operations, Marketing, Client Services and Support, Order Management and Legal to fine tune processes, develop collateral and share knowledge.

Grow and motivate the team. You will build out your team and their skills; from onboarding, product knowledge, and career development plan to teamwork, time and territory management, activity management, and competitive knowledge.

Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects. You will plan and forecast. You will locate, develop, define, and close new business opportunities. You will attend trade shows and conferences to leverage networking opportunities, generate leads, and understand competitors' offerings /trends in the industry.

Report and present. You will analyze and evaluate the outreach methods, costs and results, and provide reporting on such to determine appropriate strategies.

Position Requirements
College,   7 to 8 Years work experience
So, how do we know you are our new Business Development Sales Manager? You have:

The education. You have a diploma degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Real Estate. Or, you might be able to sell us on why your degree is just as applicable.

The experience. You have 8+ years progressive, proven success meeting or exceeding quotas and targets in a CRE solutions or other software sales leadership role. You have in-depth knowledge of inside sales metrics and how to motivate a team to find and reach clients using marketing leads and technologies such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Twitter and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

The communication skills. You are well spoken, confident and detail-oriented. You are charismatic and a respected leader who can inspire the work and dedication of their team. You can nurture internal and external relationships and you are comfortable making convincing presentations to decision-making stakeholders.

The drive. You absolutely must have a technical mindset and interest in cloud technology. You know how to balance and prioritize sales. You have a proven approach and can pass on your knowledge in a supportive and empowering manner.
