The Associate Specialist is primarily responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Sales team in the North America region.
Thanks to his/her deep chemical and material science knowledge, the Assoc. Specialist will develop a sound understanding of Ansell product solutions, chemical/barrier material interactions, and regulatory aspects to become an expert in the chemical PPE field.
He /She will conduct research and upload information on an internal software designed to assess the chemical resistance of hand and body protection products. The Assoc Specialist will assist Sales in their interaction with customers to build scientific credibility and provide solutions, particularly for the Chemical, Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
In addition, he/she will receive extensive on-the-job training and will work closely with Global Chemical Guardian and Sales Excellence teams to support organizational goals in North America.

Education
Graduate in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Material Science from an accredited university/college
M.Sc. preferred

Job Experience
1 – 2 years in a technical role
Experience in a laboratory chemical setting is preferred
Experience in a global/multinational environment
Knowledge and Skills
Position Requirements
Bachelor, 1 to 2 Years work experience
Knowledge and Skills
Strong technical skills
Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Listens effectively and clarifies information as needed
Ability to address customer inquiries in real-time
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
Knowledge of and ability to competently use Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to work effectively within a team to achieve assigned projects
Prioritize and organize effectively to maximize productivity
Self-motivated with sound time-management skills
