HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Unarmed Security Officers in the Houston, TX area. These positions are available in Full Time, Part Time, and Flex with all shifts, all days—including weekends
. The pay range is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, paid weekly. Pay will be discussed in an interview if selected.

• Must have a Texas Level II Security License.
• At least 1 year of unarmed security experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent writing, oral, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80 % of the shifts for which you are called. Refusing more than 20 % of called‑in shifts could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become exceptionally knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will act quickly and efficiently according to those directives.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Level II Texas Security License.
