Job Skills / RequirementsThe Security Flex Officer will provide first‑class customer service as well as the safety and security of all tenants and guests in a positive and professional manner. This role requires an outgoing personality, polished communication skills, a presentable appearance, and overall excellent customer service skills.

- At least 1 year of previous security experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Support manpower requirements during shortages due to open shifts, call‑offs, vacations, no shows, holidays, etc.
- Work special events as required.
- Expect to work weekends and holidays with short notice.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background and drug screen, and have a valid driver's license.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling premises.
- Monitor and patrol building lobby, floors, parking garage, loading dock, building perimeter, and outer perimeter.
- Control traffic in the loading dock both vehicular and pedestrian.
- Monitor all material entering or leaving the dock area.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators, and restraining trespassers.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtain signatures.
- Maintain equipment and building controls.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Ability to handle uncertainty and make judgments.

- Integrity, safety management, and professionalism.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, respond to emergencies, and lift heavy objects.
- Experience preferred but not required for some accounts.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
