Maintenance Technician​/Mechanic - 2nd SHIFT

Description

• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment as directed
• Repairing overhead cranes, A/C equipment, welding machines, air compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, hot dip galvanizing kettles, boiler, bag houses, production equipment, etc.
• Maintains compliance with OSHA standards, company policies and other federal and state regulations
• Assist in all areas of maintenance as assigned
• Able to diagnose basic electrical/mechanical breakdowns
• Installs, repairs, rebuilds: wiring and maintains a variety of mechanical/electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, forklifts, manlifts, transformers, alarms, machines, relays, circuit breakers, etc.
• Must have good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical for shop equipment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Experience with welding and torches
• Able to work well with team members and independently
• Must have high awareness of safety (wear PPE)
• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
• Must have tools

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training
