Position Summary
Sam's Club, Humble, TX location. The role involves member service, maintaining the checkout and entrance/exit areas, resolving member issues, promoting products and services, assisting with purchases, and ensuring safety and security in the store. Includes training responsibilities for Member Frontline Services associates and participation in program rollouts and process improvements.
What you'll do- Provide member service and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Maintain the checkout area and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.
- Guide members on self-service technology and assist with purchasing decisions; locate and arrange merchandise; promote products and services.
- Ensure a safe shopping environment; conduct safety sweeps; report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas; acknowledge members; verify membership cards; identify member needs; assist with security and safeguarding assets according to company policies.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation; execute emergency response procedures; ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates; teach new technology and tool functionality; deliver rollout training and opportunities for continuous learning and process improvement.
- Identify shrink and damages; properly handle returns; zone and organize merchandise.
- Comply with company policies, ethics, integrity standards, and the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to complete work assignments and priorities; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

- Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register).

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
