Position: Shipping Receiving Clerk
Location: Huntley (F135 Main – 11320
E. Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.53/hour
Summary DescriptionThe Shipping Receiving Clerk is responsible for processing outbound shipments and incoming materials while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely execution. This role plays a critical part in supporting customer deliveries, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations by ensuring finished goods are shipped correctly and incoming materials are properly received and stored.
What You’ll Be Doing- Review and interpret pick tickets to identify customer shipping requirements
- Pick, pull, and move pallets for shipment preparation
- Ensure finished goods are properly wrapped, labeled, and palletized
- Stage finished goods accurately and on schedule for customer shipments
- Scan finished goods and raw materials accurately to designated storage or shipping locations
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Process incoming materials according to receiving procedures
- Verify materials are received accurately and stored in the correct location
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
- Support other departments as needed
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- You have previous experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- You have pallet jack, warehouse, or forklift experience
- You can accurately interpret pick tickets and shipping documentation
- You have experience with inventory scanning systems
- You possess strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are detail‑oriented and quality‑focused
- You have basic computer and math skills
- You can work independently and in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, and communicate throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse conditions that may include noise, vibration, heat, dust, cold temperatures, and chemicals
